The Munetsugu Hall and the Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition would like to express our most sincere condolence to the victims of the recent earthquakes and tsunami in Touhoku area. Despite this tragic and trying situation, unless the situation changes drastically, the Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition will commence as planned in order to offer opportunities for young talented violinists.
However, the Opening Gala Concert, scheduled on March 14th, will now be presented as a memorial charity concert for the victims of the earthquakes and tsunami, and a part of the proceeds will be donated to aid the recovery activities in the area.
